Dr. Rebecca L. Matscherz Optometrist Dr. Rebecca L. Matscherz has provided care to patients in western Pennsylvania for more than 19 years. A Richland High School graduate, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa., and then completed the requirements for both a second Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Dr. Matscherz has extensive experience and training in the detection, management and treatment of ocular conditions and disease such as diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, macular degeneration, retinal detachment and dry eye. She works with local ophthalmologists to manage the pre- and post-operative care of patients with cataracts or who have undergone laser surgery. She is an associate of TLC, The Laser Center, in Wexford. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Assiciation. Dr. Matscherz is also active in Big Sisters. Her outdoor passion is golf. |

Dr. Anne M. Hein Optometrist Dr. Anne Hein joined The Eyecare Boutique in 2006. She has full therapeutic and diagnostic privileges and practices the full scope of Primary Care Optometry. In addition to comprehensive eye exams she fits contact lenses and treats ocular diseases for patients of all ages. A Riverside High School graduate, Dr. Hein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Grove City College, Grove City, Pa., and Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Hein lives in Cranberry Township with her husband, Jeffrey Hein, MD, and their three children. She is active in the community through various organizations, especially at St. Alphonsus School and Parish in Wexford and Quigley Catholic High School in Baden. | ||

Elizabeth Aretz (Betty) Office Manager / Optician Betty began her optical career shortly after high school and brought her expertise to The Eyecare Boutique in 2001 as an Office Manager that does it all. The Eyecare Boutique's relaxed atmosphere creates a friendly, professional environment where Betty strives to create a personal experience for each patient. She especially enjoys helping patients select eyewear from our fun and fashionable frame lines to match their personalities and lifestyles. Betty enjoys going to the gym, playing bingo, spending time with her crazy cat Sybil, and of course, her Starbucks. She also looks forward to relaxing weekends of camping and playing cards. | ||

Michele Rodgers Front Desk Coordinator Michele joined The Eyecare Boutique team in May of 2011 as the friendly Front Desk Coordinator. Her administrative expertise makes it possible for patients’ to enjoy a stress free visit. A Penn State University alumni hailing from western Pennsylvania, Michele enjoys travel and annually volunteers on medical mission trips to the Caribbean. |
